INVEST IN THE FUTURE
OF ENERGY PRODUCTION

HOW IT WORKS?

Organic Rankine Cycle is a type of technology that is used to generate electricity from sources of low-grade heat, such as waste heat from industrial processes or geothermal energy.

THE WORKING FLUID

The working fluid is heated by a low-temperature heat source, such as waste heat from industrial processes or geothermal energy, and then vaporized in a boiler.

THE TURBINE

The resulting high-pressure, high-temperature vapor is then expanded through a turbine, which generates electricity.

THE CYCLE CONTINUES

The vapor is then cooled and condensed back into a liquid, completing the cycle.

SUSTAINABLE ENERGY - ORC SYSTEM

Organic fluids used in ORC systems have low global warming potential and low toxicity, making them a more environmentally friendly option. ORC can be used to generate electricity from renewable energy sources (geothermal, solar or biomass). ORC is an attractive option for companies or facilities looking to reduce their carbon footprint and invest in sustainable energy solutions.

EFFICIENCY

ORC technology is highly efficient, with typical conversion efficiencies of up to 20%. This means that more of the heat energy is converted into electricity, resulting in less waste heat.  Organic fluids, such as hydrocarbons or refrigerants, have a higher thermal efficiency than water.

LOW TEMPERATURE

ORC systems can operate at lower temperatures than traditional Rankine cycle systems, which means they can recover heat from sources that would otherwise be discarded as waste. This is especially useful for industrial processes where low-grade waste heat is produced.

SCALABILITY

ORC technology can be scaled up or down depending on the needs of the project. It can be deployed as a standalone system or integrated with other power generation methods.

Cost-effective

The ORC systems are simple, requiring less equipment and less space than other power generation methods. The low maintenance and high reliability can also help to keep operating costs low.
